How much travel is enough? Minimum levels for sustainable mobility: A systematic literature review

How can we reduce emissions from passenger transport while ensuring that everyone can still access the places, services, and social connections they need? This research reviews how minimum levels of mobility for human well-being are defined in the scientific literature. It highlights the need to combine environmental limits with social needs, supporting the transition towards mobility systems that are both sustainable and just.
